Shoyeido’s Premium Incense is made with centuries-old recipies.
Rejuvenation, solitude. Kyara, the most prized variety of Aloeswood, brings a transcendent quality to Shoyeido's most heralded incense. This recipe required more than ten years to perfect. The ultimate in refinement and quality - simply the best.
35 sticks - 7" (18 cm) long. Approximate burning time: 40 minutes per stick.
Ingredients: Kyara (the most valued Agarwood/Aloeswood) and spices
Shoyeido is proud to introduce a new package for their finest incense. Exlcusive to Shoyeido, each bundle is wrapped in a wood block printed paper designed by an artist who received the Living National Treasure title - the highest honor an artist can achieve in Japan. The hand-wrapped bundle gently rests on a pillow of silk in an elegant Jpanese brocade cloth box. Each bundle-box contains 35 sticks (7" long).

| I decided to try this to usher in the new year. The stick alone has a pleasent aroma, lightly spicey with a peppery bite, not at all unpleasent. The smoke has a light Hickory smoke scent and live polar smell and that peppery carry. There is also an oil type sensation, a slight disel hint, again not unpleasent. The residual aroma reminds me of warm caramel.
I plan to use this at the beginning of each month. Excellent! |

| I've burned a lot of incense in my time and this stick is truly amazing. Right up there with the Shoyeido "Infinity" as the beat and most amazing stuff EVER! The scent, It's really hard to explain what''s going on here, the perfect balance of flavors, this is pure, rare Kyara and it''s easy to see why this is so prized. It''''s expensive but it's worth it for those special occasions. |
