Smudging Feathers |

These are probably the most common turkey feather used in Native American Smudging ceremonies and craft projects other than regular white feathers. They are a natural brown color with light tiger stripes. These are wing feathers. Average size of our feathers is about 8-12" and are superb quality. The best we have had in years. These feathers are perfect or nearly perfect, with an intact quill.

Bronze Turkey Feathers
Average size of 14". Perfect for smudging or Craft projects
These are probably the most common turkey feather used in Native American Smudging ceremonies and craft projects other than regular white feathers. Feathers from the bronze turkey are naturally beautiful. They vary in color from a reddish brown to a chocolate brown and have light colored stripes. Some feathers have an iridescent quality. The bronze turkey was raised for food for many years. Unfortunately, there is little (if any) domestic production left (just white turkeys these days). What this means is that the bronze turkey feathers are becoming quite scarce. We are working with a few bird ranchers who are still raising these birds.
