Tripura Clove Leaf Essential Oil
Clove leaf oil has a spicy, sweet, rich, warm, and penetrating aroma similar to Clove Bud oil. It is slightly bitter with a fruity top note and a woody base note. It is antibacterial, antiseptic and analgesic. It can be used as a flavoring in cooking. Traditionally the oil has been used as a cure for toothache and to aid digestive problems and muscular pain. Clove leaf oil is very powerful and should always be diluted when used on the skin.

Extraction method: Steam distillation
Country of Origin: Indonesia
Blends well with: basil, bergamot, black pepper, clary sage, cinnamon, citronella, all citrus oils, nutmeg, peppermint and ylang ylang.
Traditional uses: Antiseptic, stimulant, lifts depression, stimulates digestion, restores appetite and relieves flatulence. Traditionally used to relieve toothaches and useful in mouthwash and gargle.
Precautions: Do not use during pregnancy. Highly irritant to the skin, must be diluted.
