Sage is one of the most sacred herbs among indigenious North American peoples. The clean burning sage is used in the energy cleansing ritual known as smudging (or purification), which in theory means the smoke would attach itself to the negative energy of the area and cleanse it so that it becomes positive energy.

| The scent is very strong and lingering, ideal for smudging purposes. I did find it difficult to light. Once you get it smoking, it goes out every few minutes...(perhaps my own error). I was able to smudge my bedroom about 4 times from one bundle. So it is a great value! However, there is a strong 'marijuana' scent associated with Sage, in case you have a nosy landlord! |
