About this piece:
Our Brushwash Circling Dragon Incense Burner measures 4.5" across and 3" high. A remarkably detailed dragon climbs around the bowl, intrigued by the pleasant fragrances of your favorite incense. Chinese lettering is delicately etched around the remainder of the bowl (not shown). Suitable for Stick incense, cones or resins.

More About Yixing Pottery:
YiXing (pronounced ee-shing) vessels first appeared during the Sung Dynasty (960-1279) in the YiXing region of China, located in the Jiangsu province, about 120 miles northwest of Shanghai. This area of China is the world's only source for the unique purple clay (known as zisha) from which YiXing pottery is made.
