White sage (Salvia Apiana) from the coastal mountains of California. This is a broad leaf sage which is prized for its strong aromatic properties. This sage has the strongest scent of all sages we carry. These small bundles are approximately 3 to 4 inches and are perfect for one-time use.

Sage is one of the most sacred herbs among indigenous North American peoples. The clean burning sage is used in the energy cleansing ritual known as smudging (or purification), which in theory means the smoke would attach itself to the negative energy of the area and cleanse it so that it becomes positive energy.

Mullein Flower- The leaves were also used as tinder to start fires, or as a smudge which was burned over the embers of Native American campfires. Mullein also enjoyed a magical reputation as a protector against witches and their spells. It was planted in monastery gardens to ward off evil spirits and as protection from the devil.
