If you burn incense stkics, you need an incense coffin. This gadget has a little box you access from the right side. Open the little door, and you can store your stkics. When you burn your incense, you'll find this does a great job of catching the ashes. A hole is drilled into each end of the coffin. If you want, you can burn 2 stkics at a time. You can close the coffin while the incense is burning if you'd like (this applies to cones as well). I like this because it really keeps the ashes from blowing around and landing on furniture. There are two brass disks for placing cone incense. I was surprised at how beautiful this item is. The wood has beautiful figure and grain. This would make a great gift for friends who burn incense.
